Punjabi actress and Bigg Boss 13 star Himanshi Khurana, recently made an appearance on Preeti and Neeti Simone’s popular talk show ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’. She opened up about her battle with depression after her eviction from Salman Khan’s reality show. During her conversation with Sonam Bajwa, she expressed how she had to get hospitalized due to heart issues.

The 31-year-old actress, who had made the headlines for her love affair with co-contestant Asim Riaz, shared that Bigg Boss being a life-changing experience was not true at all. Talking about how she went into depression, Himanshi said, “I went into depression because of the negativity in the house. Talking about getting panic attacks before going to events and shoots, she said, “I went into severe depression after Bigg Boss, which started affecting my heart. I used to get panic attacks before going to the events, shoots and while I was dancing at Afsana Khan's wedding, I got a heart issue, due to which I was rushed to the hospital. I was in the hospital, and only my close persons knew about it.”

She went on share that it took her a really long time to recover from the damage done by the show on her mental health. She concluded by saying that she is still recovering and trying to build her life. For the unversed, Bigg Boss is one of the most controversial shows on Indian television. It tests the mental strength of celebrities by pitting them against their housemates and making them play games and tasks so that they can stay in the house.
